Long-Term Care Insurance provides a planned way to paying for, or making a contribution to, the cost of any long-term care that may be needed in the future. Through a lump-sum in advance, or regular premiums, insurance can be purchased to cover the cost of residential or domiciliary care.
Long-Term Care Insurance is becoming an increasingly important area of advice as a result of changing demographics and consumer needs such as rising life expectancy, individuals spending longer in retirement and diminishing pension returns.
It is now a regulatory requirement that any adviser wishing to provide advice in this area must first hold an appropriate qualification. CeLTCI® serves this requirement and has been designed to develop your knowledge, understanding and application of the different types of long-term care insurance.
CeLTCI® is suitable for both experienced and newly–qualified advisers and provides an opportunity for you to expand your advice-giving portfolio.
